Product Description
Turmeric is a yellow-pigmented curry spice with a long history of medicinal use in both traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine.
Turmeric contains unique compounds called curcuminoids, of which curcumin is one of the most studied with over 6,235 peer reviewed articles published to date in the scientific press for a wide range of health conditions.
If you have ever prepared a turmeric drink or prepared a curry you will know about how turmeric stains everything it comes in contact to. In fact, it is the curcuminoid compounds which are responsible for the unique yellow pigment.
But here is the problem: Regular turmeric powder only contains around 3% curcuminoids, and may be tainted with heavy metals and filth…
Our Curcumin Complex supplement on the other hand contains pure organic Turmeric and standardised turmeric extract with 95% curcuminoids so you can get the benefits of Turmeric in a practical no mess capsule format.
Plus Curcumin complex features synergistic ingredients to boost results including: Piperine, Ginger root, Cayenne extract, Zinc and Vitamin B6.
How does Curcumin Complex Work?
Curcumin Complex combines the benefits of Turmeric, with an all star cast of synergistic ingredients:
Turmeric and Curcumin
Turmeric root powder has long been used by Ayurvedic practitioners for its prized anti inflammatory active ingredient: Curcumin.
Curcumin complex features both organic turmeric powder and 95% standardised Curcumin extract to ensure an optimal dosage.
Zinc
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, immune system, protection of cells from oxidative stress, hair, nails, skin, DNA synthesis, carbohydrate metabolism and cognitive function.
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, normal cysteine synthesis, normal energy-yielding metabolism, glycogen metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Ginger root
Ginger has been used in herbal medicine for thousands of years for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory properties.
Cayenne
Cayenne contains the active ingredient capsaicin, along with vitamins A and C, flavonoids and carotenoids which provide antioxidant properties.
Piperine
Piperine may help raise the level at which nutrients are absorbed by inhibiting key enzymes responsible for metabolising nutrients.
