Green coffee beans are raw, un-roasted coffee beans which contain up to 50% of their weight in chlorogenic acid. But this unique property is lost during the roasting process which turns these beans into drinkable coffee beans.
Green coffee hit the media when a cross over study analysing 3 clinical studies highlighted promising weight loss benefits associated to chlorogenic acid found in green coffee extract.
Our green coffee extract is highly concentrated, featuring 400mg of Green Coffee extract, providing 50% Chlorogenic Acid (CGA), the equivalent to 8000mg of green coffee in an easy to swallow capsule.
Green coffee complex also features synergistic fat burners including: chromium, cinnamon extract, kelp extract and cayenne extract for optimal results.
How does Green Coffee Extract and Chlorogenic Acid work?
According to recent studies, chlorogenic acid is unique to the un-roasted coffee bean and has been found to help lower blood sugar levels as well as help inhibit blood sugar spikes.
This is significant as spikes in our blood sugar which have been found to contribute to fat storage, as well as health problems such as diabetes and heart disease2.
But thats not all…Green coffee extract has also been found to have antioxidant properties, and studies are finding is that consuming a diet rich in antioxidants may interfere with aging and the disease process by neutralizing free radicals caused by oxidative stress.

Get the recommended effective dosage of green coffee bean extract per serving
In the clinical studies, Green Coffee’s Chlorogenic Acid was found to be more effective at higher dosages. As a result, we use 20:1 400mg green coffee extract per capsule which is equivalent to a massive 8000mg of green coffee per capsule, which provides up to 16000mg of green coffee a day.
Make sure to avoid lower quality supplements which compensate by adding fillers or other ingredients to fill up their capsules and reduce their costs.

Summary of human study weight loss results:
On a recent study published in January 2012 in the the Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome and Obesity journal, adults taking either 700 or 1050mg a day of green coffee bean extract lost lost on average 18lbs, which was 10% of their overall body weight and 4.4% of their body fat.
The Dr Oz show also conducted a test under the guidance of experts including Dr Caroline Apovian and registered dietician Kristin Kirkpatrick, to see if green coffee extract was effective in real life. They enlisted 100 women, between the ages of 35 and 49 and they were instructed to take 400mg capsules 3 times a day.
After two weeks, the group of women taking green coffee extract lost on average twice as much weight as the other group taking a placebo (2lbs vs 1lb).

Randomized, double-blind, 12-week study investigated the effect of 200mg daily of Green Coffee Extract on the body mass of 30 overweight people, compared with normal instant coffee. The average losses in mass in the chlorogenic acid enriched and normal instant coffee groups were 5.4kg versus 1.7 kg, respectively.
