What is the recommended & safe daily dosage of Garcinia Cambogia?

Garcinia Cambogia is a popular weight loss aid, which has been praised for its ability to help accelerate weight loss. But before you buy a supplement, there are some important factors you need to know to ensure optimal and safe results.

Factor 1: HCA: The key that makes Garcinia Cambogia Effective

Garcinia Cambogia is a pumpkin shaped fruit native to Southern Asia and Africa which contains a unique substance called Hydroxycitric Acid also known as HCA.

HCA may help inhibit an enzyme in the liver (called citrate lyase) responsible for turning excess carbohydrates into fat and HCA may help increase serotonin (feel good hormone) levels, which have been linked to appetite suppression in many studies.

Factor 2: Whole Fruit or Extract Form?

There are two ways to benefit from Garcinia Cambogia’s weight loss effects: By taking advantage of Garcinia Cambogia’s naturally occurring HCA content in a “whole fruit” powder, or by taking a Garcinia Extract featuring a highly extracted form of HCA.

Both have their sets of pros and cons, and have different dosage recommendations:

Garcinia Extract: At a dosage of 500mg three times daily (1500mg/day) featuring a minimum of 50% HCA bound in potassium (K) and Calcium hydroxycitrate has been found to provide the most potent results.

Unfortunately, Garcinia Extract featuring an isolated form of HCA is no approved by the MHRA and the EU commission.

Wholefruit Garcinia, containing naturally occurring HCA on the other hand is less effective but has been approved by the MHRA and is fully EU compliant.

For optimal results we recommend a minimum of 1000mg of whole fruit Garcinia combined with a synergistic fat burners such as green coffee, capsicum, caffeine or green tea.
